CWU Coventry Mail Centre Campaign Gathers Pace...

 

With Royal Mail due to make a decision regarding the future of Coventry Mail Centre in the next few weeks the CWU Coventry Area Branch Coventry Mail Centre Campaign is once more gathering momentum.  The campaign has been running for over twelve months now and support for a Mail Centre in Coventry is very strong.

 

The indications at the moment are that Royal Mail favour closing Coventry Mail Centre and want to press ahead and open a new Mail Centre in Northamptonshire to process Coventry & Warwickshire’s Mail.  We believe that this would be a huge mistake.  We believe that both Coventry and Northampton should  have their own mail centres in order to each process their own mail.
